Top 40 Best-Selling Beers
To mark our 40th anniversary in 2020, we have taken a look back at the best-selling cask beers over the last four decades.
While we have grown our range of craft beers, lagers, spirits, wines and soft drinks as well over the years, you never forget your first love – cask ale and we’re proud to be Britain’s leasing wholesaler working with breweries up and down the country.
Managing Director Rob Eastwood said: “It has been great as a team to compile this list of our biggest cask ale sales and while there are some big familiar favourites in there, there were also a few surprises too. For instance, it is fascinating to see Sharp’s Doombar in at number eight as we didn’t sell any until 2011.
“Many thanks to Neil Robinson our beer buyer for not only helping with this list but also for his passion and commitment in bringing the very latest beers to our customers.
“We are really proud to have been working with some of the breweries on this list since we first started out in 1980 and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those we have supplied us over the years, helping us to build this unrivalled range of cask beer.”
